Two sisters have been missing from their south side Chicago neighborhood and the police are asking the public to help them.

The two sisters were from the south side neighborhood known as Bronzeville and they were last seen last Thursday. Their names are Daniqua and Demesha West. They are aged 13 and 15, respectively and were from the 4600 block of South Evans Avenue. The police are hoping that the public has some information.

According to local media reports, their parents and family have not seen nor heard from either of the girls since last week. Relatives have told police, who have since told the public, that they think they could be hanging out with friends somewhere near 103rd and Halsted streets.

Demesha is described as being 5-foot-4 and weighing approximately 119 pounds. She has brown eyes and brown hair. Daniqua is 5-foot-5 and weighs about 110 pounds. She also has brown eyes and brown hair. Both girls are African-American.

If anyone has seen either of the two, or has any information about where they might be, they are being encouraged to contact Wentworth Area police detectives. The phone number to reach the police is (312) 747-8385.
