The sisters Daniqua and Demesha West went missing last week, but Daniqua has been found safe, while her sister is still missing.

The sisters were reported missing last week. Their parents and family had stated that they last saw the two sisters, aged 13 and 15, last Thursday. The Chicago police put out an alert over the weekend asking for the public to report any tips that they might have in helping them locating the two girls.

A statement in the local media, from the police department, states that Daniqua, age 13, was found safe on Sunday night. However, the police were still looking for her sister, Demesha, age 15.

The police also said that they are still looking for any information from the public that might help locate Demesha. Both sisters lived in the 4600 block of South Evans in the Bronzeville neighborhood on the south side of Chicago.

Demesha is described as being African-American. She is 5-foot-54and weighs about 119 pounds. She has brown eyes and brown hair. Originally the police reported that family and friends stated that they felt the sisters might have been hanging out with friends near 103rd and Halsted streets.

Police are asking that anyone who has any information about where Demesha West might be are urged to call Wentworth Area police detectives. The number is (312) 747-8385.
