Everything is bigger in Texas, including Destination America's Last Call Food Brawl.

Late-night foodies everywhere will appreciate Last Call Food Brawl, Destination America’s latest addition to its competition series line-up. Hosted by Adam Gertler, chef, food enthusiast, and runner-up on the popular Food Network competition series, Next Food Network Star, the show features hungry bar-goers, great everyday cooks, and, of course, food. Each episode visits a different American city to challenge four cooks, hailing from 24-hour diners and mom and pop eateries, in a cook-off to determine who will be crowned the king or queen of late night bites.

Late-night eating is a niche all its own, and Last Call Food Brawl reflects that fact. The food brawls attract a raucous audience hungry for munchies that are salty and sweet, like deep fried bacon chili cheeseburgers and peanut butter s'mores french toast. Last Call Food Brawl heads to some of the biggest late night cities in the U.S. to indulge in each town’s local flavor, including New Orleans, Austin, Memphis, Nashville and Atlanta. And, each week, only one contestant wins the coveted Golden Fry Basket!

Tonight, Last Call Food Brawl heads to Austin, TX, where the queen of fried chicken; a young and ambitious food truck owner; a trained culinary chef; and a lovable teddy bear from a 24-hour diner are ready to battle for the Golden Fry Basket. They will square off for the first round challenge, “Tacos Insanos,” making the most over-the-top tacos the city has ever seen. And the main challenge will have the chefs creating an epic Tex-Mex dish befitting the state where everything’s bigger.

“There’s nothing better than hanging out with friends and wishing the night would never end…then keeping the fun going at your favorite late night food stop for a gooey grilled cheese, and maybe a side of disco fries.” said, Marc Etkind, SVP of Content Strategy for Destination America. “With LAST CALL FOOD BRAWL, our intrepid host Adam Gertler is on a mission to find talented everyday deep fry warriors in the most fun-filled cities to serve up the best in late night and comfort food --taken to epic proportions.”

Last Call Food Brawl airs on Destination America on Monday nights at 10 p.m. E/P.
