In fact, HGTV just enjoyed its highest-rated October ever. Its ratings grew 7 percent among P25-54 viewers versus October of last year. The weekends had growth of 11 percent over last October. Whether its a weekday or weekend, fans are tuning in to watch HGTV and learn about home decorating.
Several HGTV series put the network into double-digit gains in October. These shows include "Living Alaska," "Hawaii Life" and one of my personal favorites, "Beachfront Bargain Hunt." With tips from this show and "House Hunters," we found our dream home on the water and decorated it without breaking the bank.
Other favorites that kept viewers coming back for more in October include Buying and Selling and House Hunters Renovation. On October 21 at 9:30 pm. the popular "Flip or Flop" grew almost 60 percent. Stars Tarek El Moussa and his wife Christina keep viewers coming back for more.
