By the way, the text messaging is included in Metro PCS price.
On it's website the Dallas based telecommunication company provides a comparison chart of similar unlimited services provided by the major cell phone services providers.
The price of a comparable services from Sprint and T-Mobile is $99 dollars. Next on the rising price scale are AT@T and Verizon with $119.99 dollars. According to the announced plan Metro PCS beats both of these prices by its low $40 dollar price tag.
This move by the less known, but fast growing Metro PCS will surely shake the telecommunications' industry by starting new price changes from AT@T, Sprint, Verizon and T-Mobile. Perhaps many people will start calling their providers and ask to find ways to match Metro PCS's price and offering.
However, we checked some areas and noticed that Metro PCS is not available, but the message on the company's webiste says they are rapidly covering new areas and we should expect Metro PCS making some national headlines soon.
"MetroPCS Communications Inc. is one of the fastest-growing wireless companies in the country. Launched in 2002 by veteran telecom executives who thought wireless customers deserved a better way, MetroPCS owns or has access to licenses serving 140 million-plus people in 14 of the top 25 U.S. markets, from coast to coast. More than 4 million people are now part of our network, with thousands more joining every day," reads the information on company's website.
Everything they do is about being unlimited. Metro PCS wants customers know of the company as the destination to go for the unlimited wireless services. "MetroPCS wants everyone to have unlimited, affordable access to all that wireless has to offer. We are investing millions of dollars on state-of-the-art networks – technology that rivals anything in the world, that will give our customers unlimited freedom to communicate the way they want to – not by the rules of traditional wireless carriers."
