In my career as a real estate attorney, I have done everything from purchase, sales and refis to foreclosures and collections for banks and creditors and even loss mitigation work for home owners, and while I'm generally in favor of TRID and many of the new regulations coming down the pike (that's another blog for another day) I don't at all understand why short sales and deeds in lieu of foreclosure have become so much harder to negotiate in recent months.
