Caught on camera in New York over the Thanksgiving weekend was Fashion Police producer Melissa Rivers and a new beau, as filming began on season three of her WE tv reality show.
WE tv issued a press release to announce Melissa’s new love interest and its tie-in to WE’s hit show, Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best.
“While taping an episode for season three of WE tv’s hit series, “Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best?” premiering on Saturday, February 23 at 9PM ET/PT, Melissa Rivers was all smiles while ice-skating alongside her new rumored love interest, whom she met in London last month (again, while taping an upcoming episode), British actor, Duncan Mais at the Wollman rink in NYC the day before Thanksgiving.
Last season, the reality show captured the aftermath of Melissa’s heartbreak, as she broke down in her mother’s arms [Joan Rivers] as she tried to cope with the shocking news of her then-boyfriend’s [Jason Zimmerman] double life.
Come to find out, Duncan’s mother was one of the first girls to work for Playboy in the UK – and she eventually became a Bunny Recruitment Officer.
Will her mother approve? Viewers will have to tune-in this season to find out!”
Melissa Rivers, 44 is the producer of E!’s Fashion Police that stars her mother Joan Rivers and panel members Kelly Osbourne, Giuliana Rancic and stylist George Kotsiopoulos.
Melissa is a veteran of the red carpet along with mom Joan. The two used to anchor the TV Guide Channel as well as E!’s pre-award show for the Academy Awards, Golden Globes, Grammys and others.
During season two of Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best, the mother of 11 year-old son Cooper went through a nasty breakup with longtime boyfriend Jason Zimmerman.
The embarrassing details were played out for the show’s viewers when Melissa learned that Zimmerman was soliciting swinger-type trysts via a website and even more hardcore pursuits.
She rebounded in a relationship with film entrepreneur Steve Hirsch that ended in June 2012.
Duncan Mais, 30 is a native of Great Britain and an actor, most well known for his roles in English television shows.
His IMDB credits include an uncredited role in the recent film “Snow White and the Huntsman” and his work on the film “Dead Wood”, currently being filmed.
